The Leavenworth County Historical Society, founded in 54, owns and operates the Carroll Mansion, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Properties and the oldest museum in Leavenworth County.
The museum serves not only as an institution that acquires and preserves the rich history of Leavenworth County, but also as an ambassador.
