[Medium Sized Model – 25mm Base]
Known for his boisterous body and aversion to shirts, Kuthrakva has made a name for himself as a larger than life personality in Draksbornes north, earning him the moniker Dragonfist and a reputation thats far-spread. Owing to the fact theres few of his kin in this part of the world, Kuthrakva is easily identifiable by anyone who has heard tale of him, though usually those tales are bloody, resulting in his reputation being more as a thug than a hero.
An exile from his home in Zandoriel, Kuthrakva set sail to the far off continent of Tharador to live out his future. Hailing from noble origins, Kuthrakva was banished after bludgeoning one of his family servants to death with a candelabrum in a fit of rage. Having learnt nothing from his exile, outbursts of violent rage are still common for the shirt-averse Dragonkin, who has earned the moniker Dragonfist among the townsfolk in the northern reaches of Draksborne. Here many fights and bar disputes have ended with Kuthrakvas fists painted in blood.
Still, he is not without respect, if not borne out of fear. This fearsome reputation is what instilled Karthys to recruit the fiery-tempered Dragonkin into his midst, seeing a Draconic Enforcer as further fuel to his claim as a messiah among the people. While Kuthrakva is not exactly persuaded by the delusions of the self-proclaimed prophet, he is persuaded by the enormous Green Dragon acting as his servant, alongside the mountains of gold.
Kuthrakva hopes to one day break whatever mindwashing or conditioning Karthys has set upon his ancestral kin, freeing the Dragon and riding it home to Zandoriel where he will be rejoiced as a hero. But for now he bides his time, waiting for the moment to strike or make his move. He dare not do it at an inopportune moment if he can, for it would spell his own certain death and the servant Dragon would likely take no heed of whatever plight Kuthrakva would put before it, before it turned him into a pile of bones.
Midorius the Broken – Juvenile Green Dragon
A young Green Dragon who escaped the dreaded Hollow several months ago, living in the valleys within Eredel County soon after, brought there by a beckoning presence. Though it left the Hollow for freedom, it found itself bound in servitude to a master who held a hatchling, the youngest of their species. Midorius now will do as bid by its master Karthys, whose true plans for it are much more insidious than it realises.
Midorius the Broken’s journey from the depths of the Hollow to the valleys within Eredel County is a flight from darkness to a different kind of bondage. Escaping as the Putrid Fog, a malevolent miasma that had plagued its subterranean home, began to recede, Midorius sought the liberty it believed the surface world could offer. However, freedom proved elusive, replaced instead by the servitude under Karthys, a master with designs hidden even from the dragon itself. The lure was a hatchling, the last of Midorius’s line, compelling the dragon into a reluctant obedience.
Karthys, an exile forged in the cold isolation of Khandara’s icy dungeons, found in Midorius not just a pawn, but a vessel. The dragon, unbeknownst to itself, carries within it a nascent plaguea dire concoction of Mindrot from Karthys’s own tormented stay in the citadel, mixed with remnants of the Hollow’s Putrid Fog. This disease, neither fully understood by its host nor its master, represents a ticking clock of calamity that could spell disaster far beyond the Eredel County’s serene valleys.
Midorius now roams, guided by the whims of Karthys, a figure it sees as both jailor and savior. The dragon’s formidable presence, once a symbol of raw, untamed power, is now a harbinger of an insidious threat it unwittingly bears.
