Learning Resources – Take to the skies with new STEM skills! Kids build early engineering and other essential STEM skills during every play session with FlightGears, one of the fun-filled Gears! Gears! Gears! building sets. Using sturdy plastic gears that twist, turn, and move, little engineers can follow along with building suggestions in the included activity guide, or design and build their own sky-ready flying contraptions. Each vehicle can also incorporate accessories inspired by real flying machines; add a propeller to power imaginary flights, or snap on some wheels to make each landing safe and fun. No matter what shape their vehicles take, kids will also build critical thinking, fine motor, and other STEM skills every time they design a new vehicle. Best of all, FlightGears’ pieces work with all existing Gears! sets, which encourages open-ended play and offers kids endless ways to design, build, and adapt their flying creations.
