Each setting has its own strengths and weaknesses in relation to damage, range, and reload time (settings can be changed during battle). There is also a secret weapon button that you can use for the ultimate attack, but choose carefully because it can be used only once per game.
An infrared receiver, located on the front of the laser blaster, tracks and registers hits (The blaster is the target. You don’t need to wear a vest). Shots can be detected from a full 180 degrees, not just straight on.
